The on-line subscription technology has been used by DLSU Library since 1990. They have been subscribing now from almost seven (7) years but the technology for the past years only permitted abstract retrival dialogues and comprehensive bibliographical citations.
Now DLSU have subscribed to a database provider that allows not only abstract retrivals and bibliographical citations but full text articles, journals, and magazines. It is only now that DLSU students are able to access such e-journals.
There are only 19 schools/universities that have access to this new media technology in the Philippines.
